Motivations and expectations of pregnant women using psychoactive substances during prenatal care: phenomenological study.

Objective: Understand the motivations and expectations of pregnant women using psychoactive substances during prenatal care.

Methods: A qualitative study developed in the light of Alfred Schütz's Theoretical Framework of Phenomenological Sociology, in which 25 pregnant women using psychoactive substances, belonging to a Family Health Strategy, participated. Data production took place between August and November 2022.

Motives behind the work of harm reducers with drug users: a phenomenological study.

Objective: To understand the motives behind the actions of harm reducers when working with drug users.

Method: Qualitative research conducted in the municipality in Rio Grande do Sul (RS), Brazil, in May 2017, by means of phenomenological interviews with 17 harm reducers. We analyzed and interpreted the data using the social phenomenology of Alfred Schütz.

Care actions for family members of users of psychoactive substances: intentions/expectations.

Objective: to understand the professionals' intentions and family members' expectations about care actions developed to the relatives of users of psychoactive substances.

Method: a social phenomenology approach according to Alfred Schütz, performed in a Psychosocial Care Center for Alcohol and Drugs. Interviews were performed with 13 professionals and 12 family members.

Motives of abuse of psychoactive substances by women assisted in a Psychosocial Attention Center.

Objective: To understand the reasons attributed by women to the abuse of psychoactive substances.

Method: Qualitative approach of phenomenological nature. We interviewed 12 women users of psychoactive substances under treatment at the Center for Psychosocial Care alcohol and drugs in Southern Brazil.
