[Two cases of fulminant myocarditis with mesenteric ischemia].

Fulminant myocarditis (FM) can lead to a refractory cardiogenic shock and multiple organ failure. Mechanical circulatory support (MCS) is not infrequency required to salvage patients in a profound shock. Advanced technology in MCS such as a temporary ventricular assist device can yield improved early outcome.
