Aim: To compare the diagnostic accuracy of periapical radiography (PR) and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) for detecting pathoses of endodontic origin using the gold standard of direct surgical visualization.

Methodology: Seventy-four patients (112 teeth) underwent radiographic examination by periapical radiography and CBCT. The presence of periapical lesions, root perforations and their locations, root fractures, different types of external root resorptive defects, apicomarginal bone defects, through and through bone defects, buccal bone status and proximity of root apices and lesions to vital anatomical structures were assessed.

The explorations of earth-abundant, noble metal-free, highly efficient electrocatalysts for water-splitting reactions have been considered as highly significant for imperishable energy production. Though the metal organic framework (MOF)-based materials are highly promising candidates in the area of material chemistry, the combined properties associated with MOFs and the one-dimensional (1D) fibrous matrix, which can lead to better electrocatalytic performance, have been less explored. Herein, we ascertain a fabrication method for ZIF-67 (zeolite imidazolate framework) nanofibers (NFs), Fe-ZIF NFs, and Fe-ZIF-67 NFs via the wet chemical combined electrospinning (ES) approach.

Cefotaxime induced generalized bullous fixed drug eruption - A case report.

Fixed drug eruption (FDE) is the most common cutaneous adverse drug reaction. Cefotaxime, a broad-spectrum third-generation cephalosporin, appeared to be a safe and effective therapy in greater than 90% of infections including cellulitis, abscesses and necrotizing ulcers of the skin and subcutaneous tissues but here we report a rare case of 36 years old female patient developed generalized bullous FDE after intravenous administration of Cefotaxime.
