Effects of Low Light after Heading on the Yield of Direct Seeding Rice and Its Physiological Response Mechanism.

As a photophilous plant, rice is susceptible to low-light stress during its growth. The Sichuan Basin is a typical low-light rice-producing area. In this study, eight rice varieties with different shade tolerances were studied from 2021 to 2022.

[Drug treatment efficacy in 32 children with streptococcal toxic shock syndrome].

Objectives: To study the efficacy of different drug treatment regimens in children with streptococcal toxic shock syndrome (STSS).

Methods: Clinical data of children diagnosed with STSS confirmed by bacterial culture and treated in Hunan Children's Hospital and Chenzhou First People's Hospital from January 2009 to April 2023 were retrospectively collected. The efficacy of different drug treatment regimens was analyzed.

Enhanced hydrogen evolution activity of CsPbBr nanocrystals achieved by dimensionality change.

Dimensionality plays a vital role at the nanoscale in tuning the electronical and photophysical properties and surface features of perovskite nanocrystals. Here, 3D and 1D all-inorganic CsPbBr nanocrystals were chosen as model materials to systemically reveal the dimensionality-dependent effect in photocatalytic H evolution. In terms of facilitating photoinduced electron-hole pair separation and charge transfer, as well as inducing proton reduction potential with the presence of fewer Br vacancies, 1D CsPbBr nanorods gave about a 5-fold improvement for solar H evolution.

[Treatment of instability of patellofemoral joint through athroscopic repair of medial patellofemoral ligament for adolescents with epiphyseal non-closure by allogenic tendon].

Objective: To explore the efficacy of arthroscopic repair of medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) for adolescents with epiphyseal non-closure by allogenic tendon in the treatment of instable patellofemoral joint.

Methods: There were a total of 38 cases including 61 knees with patellofemoral instability from June 2008 to January 2010 at our department. They were diagnosed according to the history of illness, apprehension test and tangential position radiograph in patellofemoral joint.

[Comparison of no drain or with a drain after unilateral total knee arthroplasty: a prospective randomized controlled trial].

Objective: To prospectively compare of no drain or with drain after unilateral total knee arthroplasty (TKA).

Methods: A randomized prospective study was conducted between February 2006 and February 2007. The study included 100 patients who were divided into 2 groups: group A (n = 50), which included patients without drain release, and group B (n = 50), which included patients who had a drain release.

[Constricted ear therapy with free auricular composite grafts].

Objective: A simple and effective therapy for single side constricted ear.

Methods: Transplanting normal side free composite auricular grafts to constricted ear (15 patients and 15 sides), then lengthening the helix, exposing the scapha, correcting deformity.

Results: The 15 patients composite grafts all survived.
