Background: This study aimed to determine the actual working conditions, including working hours and desired future working styles of hospital pediatricians and obstetricians/gynecologists (OB/GYNs) in Tokushima Prefecture.
Method: This cross-sectional study used a self-administered questionnaire. Pediatricians and OB/GYNs (n = 96) working at 14 hospitals in Tokushima Prefecture were surveyed.
Background: This study aimed to identify the factors relating to moderately increased albuminuria among middle-aged and older individuals in Japan.
Methods: We conducted specific health examinations in which we measured albuminuria levels, and administered a questionnaire survey to record participants' lifestyles in western Tokushima Prefecture, Japan. A total of 1,660 people whose albuminuria was less than 300 mg/g creatinine (Cr) were analyzed.
Objective: Previous studies reported that presenteeism costs the enterprises more than absenteeism. It becomes more important for corporate management to evaluate the outcomes of health promotion initiatives for their employees using work performance scales in Japan. We previously developed a Japanese version of Work Limitations Questionnaire (WLQ-J), a presenteeism scale developed by Lerner D.

These children were asked to read kana words and non-words consisting of either two or five kana characters. The results showed that the error rates of the normal Preschoolers and Primary-School children with dyslexia were higher than those of the normal Primary-School children.

Upon treatment with tributyltin hydride in the presence of AIBN, oxime ethers connected with either an aldehyde or a ketone via a nitrogen atom smoothly underwent stannyl radical addition-cyclization to give five- to seven-membered cis- and trans-heterocyclic amino alcohols of which the trans-isomers were major products. The newly found radical cyclization provides a novel method for preparing not only bifunctionalized heterocyclic compounds but also adjacently functionalized amino alcohols carrying two quaternary carbons.
