Background: Laparoscopic liver resection has been increasingly utilized due to its less invasiveness approach compared with open surgery,13 but often creates challenges. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with bile duct tumor thrombus (BDTT) portends a poorer prognosis and often precludes patients from potential liver resection.46 We herein report a case of laparoscopic hepatectomy and thrombectomy in a patient with HCC and BDTT.

MPS thin films were prepared from tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) via using sol-gel and spin-coating methods using a poly-(ethylene oxide)-block-poly-(propylene oxide)-block-poly-(ethylene oxide) triblock polymer, such as P123 ((EO)20(PO)70(EO)20) or F127 ((EO)106(PO)70(EO)106), as the structure-directing agent. The MPS thin film prepared using P123 as the mesoporous template and treated via vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) irradiation to remove the triblock copolymer had a more uniform pore array than that of the corresponding film prepared via thermal treatment.

In this context, there is a great need for the design and development of a new protein A column system with desired functionalities at low cost. Here, we developed mesoporous silica (MPS) with pore diameters in the range of 2.
