Primary effusion lymphoma (PEL) is a non-Hodgkin's B-cell lymphoma, associated with immunosuppressed individuals, such as post-transplant or AIDS patients. Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV) is the causative agent of PEL and Kaposi's sarcoma.
