Covariates of Knowledge, Attitude, Practice, and Burdens among the Caregivers of Hypertensive Patients.

Caregivers of hypertensive patients play a significant role in ensuring adequate patient care and lowering the risk of hypertension-relatedcomplications. Caregivers are ideal study subjects for identifying gaps in hypertension management. Our study aimed to assess the knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) of hypertensive patients' caregivers, to identify their extent of involvement in patients' care, and to assess their care-related attributes.

Association between comorbidity and health-related quality of life in a hypertensive population: a hospital-based study in Bangladesh.

Background: Hypertension is a known risk factor for several chronic conditions including diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. However, little is known about its impact on Health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in the context of Bangladesh. This study aimed to evaluate the association of hypertension on HRQoL among Bangladeshi patients corresponding to the socio-demographic condition, comorbid conditions, treatment, and health outcomes.

COVID-19 Infection in Pregnancy: A Review.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), which is a highly contagious viral illness caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has had a catastrophic effect on the world's demographics, resulting in more than 3.8 million deaths worldwide and establishing itself as the most serious global health crisis since the 1918 influenza pandemic. Several questions remain unanswered regarding the effects of COVID-19 disease during pregnancy.

Program evaluation: improving the quality of life of older people in an urban slum in Bangladesh.

Aims: The study aimed to explore the quality and impact of care provided through an innovative palliative care project to improve the quality of life of older people in an urban informal settlement in Bangladesh.

Methods: Center for Palliative Care (CPC) at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka, in collaboration with the Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance (WHPCA) has been operating this community project since 2015. A cross-sectional observational design was used in this program evaluation study.

The Psychosocial and Spiritual Experiences of Patients with Advanced Incurable Illness in Bangladesh: A Cross-Sectional Observational Study.

Context: The psychosocial and spiritual needs of individuals with life-limiting conditions in low- or middle-income countries have not been well described. Understanding these needs is important to providing holistic palliative care.

Aim: This study aims to better understand the psychosocial and spiritual needs and supports of patients with advanced, incurable illness in Bangladesh.
