Chondrolipoma is characterized by adult onset and is often identified in the breast, pharynx and tongue. The current study presents a case of chondrolipoma of the finger in an 11 year-old girl.

Preparation of Thin Frozen Sections from Nonfixed and Undecalcified Hard Tissues Using Kawamoto's Film Method (2020).

A method for preparing frozen sections with an adhesive film is described. In order to observe fine structures and weak fluorescence of samples, new types of adhesive films [Cryofilm type 3C(16UF) and 4D(16UF)] are used. The adhesive film is made with very clear and very low autofluorescence.

Pneumonia caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 occasionally becomes severe and requires endotracheal intubation. Endotracheal intubation is usually performed using a laryngoscope; however, the operator needs to be in close proximity to the patient's face during the procedure, which increases the risk of droplet exposure. Therefore, we simulated fiberoptic endotracheal intubation on a mannequin representing the patient, using an ultrathin flexible gastrointestinal endoscope as an alternative to the bronchoscope, in order to maintain distance from the patient during the procedure.

Single Open Sites on Fe Ions Stabilized by Coupled Metal Ions in CN-Deficient Prussian Blue Analogues for High Catalytic Activity in the Hydrolysis of Organophosphates.

CN-deficient Prussian blue analogues (PBAs), [M(HO)][Fe(CN)(NH)] (M = Cu, Co, or Ga), were synthesized and examined as a new class of heterogeneous catalysts for hydrolytic decomposition of organophosphates often used as pesticides. The active species of the CN-deficient PBAs were mainly C-bound Fe ions with only single open sites generated by liberation of the NH ligand during the catalytic reactions. [Cu(HO)][Fe(CN)(NH)] showed higher catalytic activity than [Co(HO)][Fe(CN)(NH)] and [Ga(HO)][Fe(CN)(NH)], although N-bound Cu species has been reported as less active than Co and Ga species in conventional PBAs.

This Letter describes a search for narrowly resonant new physics using a machine-learning anomaly detection procedure that does not rely on signal simulations for developing the analysis selection. Weakly supervised learning is used to train classifiers directly on data to enhance potential signals. The targeted topology is dijet events and the features used for machine learning are the masses of the two jets.

We examined the factorial structure and validity of a Japanese version of the Parental Burnout Assessment, the PBA-J, with 1,500 Japanese parents. The Parental Burnout Assessment measures burnout using four dimensions: exhaustion in one's parental role, contrast in parental self, feelings of being fed up, and emotional distancing. Confirmatory factor analysis on the PBA-J supported a four-factor model.

Background: Cancer stem cells (CSCs) are considered to be responsible for tumor initiation, formation, and poor prognosis of cancer patients. However, the rarity of CSCs in clinical samples makes it difficult to elucidate characteristics of CSCs, especially in osteosarcoma (OS). Boron neutron capture therapy for clear cell sarcoma.

Clear cell sarcoma of tendons and aponeuroses (CCS) is a rare, malignant tumor arising in lower extremities with no effective treatment other than wide surgical resection. Here described is a case of primary CCS in the peroneal tendon of the right foot of a 54-year-old woman enrolled to undergo BNCT. The tumor mass post-BNCT disappeared totally without damage to other normal tissue, demonstrating, for the first time, the potential efficacy of BNCT in complete local control of CCS.

CP Properties of Higgs Boson Interactions with Top Quarks in the tt[over ¯]H and tH Processes Using H→γγ with the ATLAS Detector.

A study of the charge conjugation and parity (CP) properties of the interaction between the Higgs boson and top quarks is presented. Higgs bosons are identified via the diphoton decay channel (H→γγ), and their production in association with a top quark pair (tt[over ¯]H) or single top quark (tH) is studied. The analysis uses 139  fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13  TeV with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider.

The one-dimensional coordination polymer [Rh2(HA)4]n (1G; HA = hexanoate) exhibits a drastic vapochromic color change from green to red upon exposure to pyridine (py) vapor. Heating the red discrete complex [Rh2(HA)4(py)2] (1R) at 338 K affords the purple discrete tetrarhodium complex [Rh2(HA)4(py)]2 (1P), which is an intermediate species in the vapochromic transformation of 1G to 1R. The obtained complexes 1G, 1R, and 1P differ not only in their color in the solid state, but also in their temperature-dependent phase transition properties.

Non-reassuring foetal status and sleep problems in 1-year-old infants in the Japan Environment and Children's Study: a cohort study.

Abnormal autonomic function may cause false-positive non-reassuring foetal status (fpNRFS) and may also cause sleeping problems after birth. However, an association between fpNRFS and sleeping problems in infants has not been reported. We previously showed an association of NRFS with temperament, including bad mood and frequent crying for long durations in 1-month-old infants.

Extraskeletal Para-articular Osteochondroma of the Ankle Joint in a Child: A Case Report.

Case: We present a rare case of extraskeletal para-articular osteochondroma (ESPAOC) in the ankle of a 9-year-old boy, which was causing pain and limiting the range of motion of the ankle joint. The lesion might have also contributed to the deformity of the medial aspect of the talus. Total resection resolved all of the symptoms, with no recurrence at 1-year postoperatively.

This study aimed to investigate the association of maternal sleep before and during pregnancy with preterm birth, infant sleep and temperament at 1 month of age. We used the data of the Japan Environment and Children's Study, a cohort study in Japan, which registered 103,099 pregnancies between 2011 and 2014. Participants were asked about their sleep before and during pregnancy, and the sleep and temperament of their newborns at 1 month of age.
