embryo production (IVP) induces excessive production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), which affects blastocyst quality. Therefore, the supplementation of culture media with antioxidants is an alternative to overcome oxidative stress damage. However, there is a growing demand for the use of antioxidant compounds that are more natural and less toxic in cell cultures.

A stabilized analogue of C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP) is known to elongate bone by interacting with FGFR3 signals and thus is a promising drug candidate. However, it needs daily administration by percutaneous injection.

However, hypertensive cardiomyopathy with congestive heart failure due to WT is remarkably rare, with only several cases reported worldwide.

Chondrolipoma is characterized by adult onset and is often identified in the breast, pharynx and tongue. The current study presents a case of chondrolipoma of the finger in an 11 year-old girl.

In order to observe fine structures and weak fluorescence of samples, new types of adhesive films [Cryofilm type 3C(16UF) and 4D(16UF)] are used. The adhesive film is made with very clear and very low autofluorescence.

In one example, human spliceosomal U snRNAs are matured at their 3'-end by an exonuclease termed TOE1. This process is important because mutations in TOE1 gene can cause a human genetic disease, pontocerebellar hypoplasia (PCH).

Pneumonia caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 occasionally becomes severe and requires endotracheal intubation. Endotracheal intubation is usually performed using a laryngoscope; however, the operator needs to be in close proximity to the patient's face during the procedure, which increases the risk of droplet exposure. Therefore, we simulated fiberoptic endotracheal intubation on a mannequin representing the patient, using an ultrathin flexible gastrointestinal endoscope as an alternative to the bronchoscope, in order to maintain distance from the patient during the procedure.

The active species of the CN-deficient PBAs were mainly C-bound Fe ions with only single open sites generated by liberation of the NH ligand during the catalytic reactions. [Cu(HO)][Fe(CN)(NH)] showed higher catalytic activity than [Co(HO)][Fe(CN)(NH)] and [Ga(HO)][Fe(CN)(NH)], although N-bound Cu species has been reported as less active than Co and Ga species in conventional PBAs.

Weakly supervised learning is used to train classifiers directly on data to enhance potential signals. The targeted topology is dijet events and the features used for machine learning are the masses of the two jets.

Although systemic administration of anticancer agents is effective for bone metastasis, it is often stopped because of poor general conditions or side effects.

The Parental Burnout Assessment measures burnout using four dimensions: exhaustion in one's parental role, contrast in parental self, feelings of being fed up, and emotional distancing. Confirmatory factor analysis on the PBA-J supported a four-factor model.

However, the rarity of CSCs in clinical samples makes it difficult to elucidate characteristics of CSCs, especially in osteosarcoma (OS). The aim of this study is to verify whether it is possible to generate CSC-like cells by transducing defined factors into an OS cell line.

However, little is known regarding the cell lineage within taste buds. In this study, we investigated the cell fate of Mash1-positive precursor cells utilizing the Cre-loxP system to explore the differentiation of taste bud cells.

To establish a bolus method requiring one treatment plan, we assessed the surface dose of a thinner daily bolus for all treatment fractions and compared it against the half-time 5-mm-thick bolus. In this basic study, we specifically investigated dosage achieved when using the following: (1) the existing bolus protocol, a half-time 5-mm-thick tissue-equivalent Clearfit bolus (Fujidenolo Inc.

Here described is a case of primary CCS in the peroneal tendon of the right foot of a 54-year-old woman enrolled to undergo BNCT. The tumor mass post-BNCT disappeared totally without damage to other normal tissue, demonstrating, for the first time, the potential efficacy of BNCT in complete local control of CCS.

Higgs bosons are identified via the diphoton decay channel (H→γγ), and their production in association with a top quark pair (tt[over ¯]H) or single top quark (tH) is studied. The analysis uses 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider.

Heating the red discrete complex [Rh2(HA)4(py)2] (1R) at 338 K affords the purple discrete tetrarhodium complex [Rh2(HA)4(py)]2 (1P), which is an intermediate species in the vapochromic transformation of 1G to 1R. The obtained complexes 1G, 1R, and 1P differ not only in their color in the solid state, but also in their temperature-dependent phase transition properties.
