Recent advances in CRISPR technology in the milieu of oral squamous cell carcinoma.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is a widely recognized cancer that constitutes over 90 % of all oral cancer cases [1]. Thanks to advancements in cancer treatment, such as radiation, chemotherapy, and molecular target therapy, the 5-year relative survival rate for OSCC has more than doubled in the past 26 years. However, the exact cause and molecular process of OSCC have not been fully understood, and further investigation is necessary.
