Objectives: Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg) is used for treatment of acute neurologic conditions such as Guillain-Barre syndrome, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy relapse, and myasthenia gravis exacerbation. Precision dosing (adjusted or ideal body weight) is proposed to conserve IVIg. There have been no published studies comparing clinical outcomes in traditional dosing (actual body weight) with precision dosing.
