Assessment of Prosthodontic Status and Treatment Needs of Patients Visiting Dental Institutions of Punjab.

Background: This study was conducted to assess the prosthodontic status and treatment needs of patients visiting dental institutions of a known population.

Material And Methods: This study comprised a total of 100 participants. The research excluded patients who did not have any prosthodontic appliances or who had dental crowns (no missing teeth).

Assessment of Retention of Implant Bearing Mandibular Overdentures with Various Attachments: A Three-Year Follow-Up.

Mandibular dentures are considered dubious in terms of retention in resorbed ridges. Implant bearing overdentures can be a solution to the abovesaid issue. Various attachments in use offer variations in retention and maintenance.

Orbital prosthesis- An innovative approach.

An orbital prosthesis is a good alternative to surgical reconstruction for cosmetic and psychological rehabilitation of the patient. It should be aesthetic, durable, light weight, economical, and most importantly retentive. A clinical report explaining the prosthetic rehabilitation of post surgical case of orbital trauma that was followed by orbital exenteration has been described.

Retention of Implant Supported Metal Crowns Cemented with Different Luting Agents: A Comparative Invitro Study.

Introduction: To overcome limitations of screw-retained prostheses, cement-retained prostheses have become the restoration of choice now a days. Selection of the cement hence becomes very critical to maintain retrievability of the prostheses.
