Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is the most lethal and aggressive breast cancer among all the breast cancer subtypes. Despite several attempts, to date, there is an extensive lack of therapeutic intervention. Hence, there is a dire need for an effective biomarker to timely diagnose TNBC.

Nylon filaments have long been demonstrated to be durable and are widely used, but not much is known regarding the performance of Curen filaments compared to nylon filaments. This in vitro study compared the stiffness, abrasion potential, abrasion resistance, and bristle surface changes of Curen and nylon filaments.

The QY of QDs typically increases with an increase in the excitation wavelength. Here, we present a distinctive behavior, where the QY is found to decrease with an increase in the excitation wavelength in water-soluble CdTe QDs (CQDs).

Methods: In this prospective, single-arm, observational study, 70 patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status III or IV of either sex, aged 40-70 years, scheduled to undergo elective PACAB for isolated ischemic heart disease with EF >30% were included.
Introduction: Cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) has a remarkably variable disease course, even in monogenetic hereditary forms. Our aim was to investigate the prevalence of vascular risk factors and their effect on disease onset and course in Dutch-type hereditary (D-)CAA and sporadic CAA.
Methods: We performed a cohort study in D-CAA to investigate the association between vascular risk factors (hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, smoking, and alcohol use) and age of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) onset and time of ICH recurrence with survival analyses.
Dead cell sorting is pivotal and plays a very significant role in homeostasis. Apoptosis and ferroptosis are the two major regulatory cell death processes. Apoptosis is a programmed cell death process, while ferroptosis is a regulatory cell death process.

We investigated specific cognitive profiles, cognitive function in the stage before intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), and the association between magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) based cerebral small vessel disease (cSVD) burden in CAA because data on these topics are limited.
Methods: We included Dutch-type hereditary CAA (D-CAA) mutation carriers with and without ICH, patients with sporadic CAA (sCAA), and age-matched controls.
Aim: The aim of the present study was to examine various factors that may contribute to early crestal bone loss around submerged implants, prior to restoration.
Methods: The research included a collective of 100 implants, procured from 60 participants. We allocated a total of 60 patients into two distinct groups: 20 individuals in the healthy group and 40 individuals in the ECBL group.
MYT1L is a neuronal transcription factor highly expressed in the developing and adult brain. While pathogenic mutation causes neurodevelopmental disorders, these have not been characterized in human models of neurodevelopment. Here, we defined the consequences of pathogenic mutation in human pluripotent stem cell-derived cortical interneurons.

We aimed to investigate the impacted domains of life, value-based HRQoL and the prevalence of depression and anxiety in patients with CAA.
Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study of patients with sporadic (s)CAA, lobar dominant mixed CAA and hypertensive arteriopathy (mixed CAA-HTA), or Dutch-type hereditary (D-)CAA, from prospective outpatient clinic cohorts.
Several parameters affect our brain's neuronal system and can be identified by analyzing electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. One of the parameters is alcoholism, which affects the pattern of our EEG signals. By analyzing these EEG signals, one can derive information regarding the alcoholic or normal stage of an individual.

However, they have rarely been employed in super-resolution microscopy (SRM) to study live cells and dynamics of lysosomes. Here, we present an NIR emissive highly photostable Zn-complex as a multifaceted fluorescent probe for the long-term dynamical distribution of lysosomes in various cancerous and non-cancerous cells in live condition and embryogenic evolution in ().

However, understanding the complex photoluminescence lifetime in these nanomaterials is critically challenged by the overflowing pile-up effect, which occurs due to the high repetition rate of the light source in the time-correlated single photon counting (TCSPC) technique. Here, we provide a quantitative lifetime analysis, especially in metal nanoclusters, metal complexes, and semiconductor quantum dots, which suggests that the same experimental parameters can mislead the lifetime data interpretation for long-ranged luminescent nanomaterials.

The current study examines the changing trend of rainfall and temperature in the GB basin over a period of 30 years to identify areas at risk with an emphasis on the Paris Agreement's mandate to keep increasing temperatures below 2 °C. The maximum temperature anomaly in the middle Ganga plains recorded an increase of more than 1.

Background: Transfusion Camp is a structured education programme developed in Toronto, with the aim of reducing knowledge gaps in transfusion medicine in postgraduate trainees. It consists of didactic lectures viewed online by the participants, then interactive, locally delivered seminars.
For decades, cognitive scientists have debated what kind of representation might characterize human concepts. Whatever the format of the representation, it must allow for the computation of varied properties, including similarities, features, categories, definitions, and relations. It must also support the development of theories, ad hoc categories, and knowledge of procedures.

The age of onset of ICH in D-CAA mutation carriers is strikingly variable and ranges from late thirties up to 70 years. We investigated the presence of genetic anticipation and assessed the influence of parental age at onset and sex on age of ICH onset in offspring.

We assessed PSMD over the clinical continuum in Dutch-type hereditary CAA (D-CAA) and its association with other CAA-related MRI-markers and cognitive symptoms. We included (pre)symptomatic D-CAA mutation-carriers and calculated PSMD from diffusion-MRI data.

The exclusively used commercial dye for RNA staining is SYTO RNASelect, which works in fixed cells only. To overcome this constraint, we synthesized NIR-emissive, highly photostable, and biocompatible carbon nanodots (CNDs) as a fluorescent biomarker for rRNA.

Although human cortical interneurons (cINs) are a minority population in the cerebral cortex, disruption of interneuron development is a frequent contributor to neurodevelopmental disorders. Here, we utilized a model for deriving cINs from human embryonic stem cells to profile chromatin state changes and generate an atlas of -regulatory elements (CREs) controlling human cIN development. We used these data to define candidate transcription factors (TFs) that may bind these CREs to regulate interneuron progenitor specification.

The aim of this study is to investigate whether in patients with sCAA, cognitive impairment and neuropsychiatric symptoms are associated with a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarker profile associated with Alzheimer's disease (AD).
Methods: In this cross-sectional study, we included participants with sCAA and dementia- and stroke-free, age- and sex-matched controls, who underwent a lumbar puncture, brain MRI, cognitive assessments, and self-administered and informant-based-questionnaires on neuropsychiatric symptoms.
Background: Neuropsychiatric symptoms (NPS) may affect cognition, but their burden in cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA), one of the main causes of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) and dementia in the elderly, remains unclear. We investigated NPS, with emphasis on apathy and irritability in sporadic (sCAA) and Dutch-type hereditary (D-)CAA.
Methods: We included patients with sCAA and (pre)symptomatic D-CAA, and controls from four prospective cohort studies.
