However, an increase in postoperative mortality and morbidity has also been observed. We, therefore, evaluated the early postoperative complications in patients treated with neoadjuvant RT for locally advanced rectal adenocarcinoma.

Patients And Methods: During the last 3 years, 116 patients with localized prostate cancer underwent transperineal ultrasonography-guided permanent implantation with I(125) seeds. Permanent implantation consisted of 21-82 I(125) seeds of 0.

Materials And Methods: We retrospectively studied thirty-two patients with liposarcoma (in seventeen located in the retroperitoneum and in fifteen in the extremities) who were managed at our institution over a ten-year period. Six patients with extremity liposarcoma developed local recurrence and or distal metastases and in three the site of the distal spread was other than the lungs.
The diagnostic accuracy of an investigational test for cervix cancer screening is studied. The method involves a vaginal tampon that changes colour in relation to LDH activity and can detect preinvasive and invasive cervical lesions. The test was applied in 50 women with CIN, 50 women with histologically proved cervical cancer and in 500 women with no history of malignancy.
