The aim of this study was to identify, through a systematic review, how perceptions of genital and body self-image can influence the sexual function of young adult women. A systematic review was performed in which 704 studies were selected. After analyzing the articles, only 10 articles were included, from which the data for this research were extracted.

Sleep quality of adult recreational cannabis users: a systematic review of literature.

Introduction: Human sleep is fundamental for the proper occurrence of organic functions. Hence, the lack of sleep can impair cognitive function, resulting in emotional problems, memory changes and disease onset. Aim: To investigate the effectiveness of interventions to prevent the occurrence of perineal trauma in parturients.

Methods: A bibliographic search was carried out in Cochrane Library, MEDLINE via PUBMED, LILACS via Virtual Health Library (VHL), Embase, Scopus, CINAHL, Scielo, Web of Science, and PEDro databases. Randomized clinical trials evaluating the effects of any intervention to prevent perineal trauma during pregnancy and/or childbirth were included.

The impact of heart failure on the sexual response cycle: A systematic review.

Background: Heart failure (HF) is the most prevalent disease among chronic diseases and has been associated with a high prevalence of erectile dysfunction (ED).

Objective: this study aims to analyze research that has as its object of study the sexual activity of patients with HF.

Methods: A high-sensitivity search was performed in databases (PUBMED via MEDLINE, Cochrane, EMBASE, Web of Science, SCOPUS AND CINAHL) using descriptors linked to sexuality and heart failure.

Physical Exercise Affects Quality of Life and Cardiac Autonomic Modulation in Patients With Chronic Kidney Failure Submitted to Hemodialysis: A Randomized Clinical Trial.

Performing physical exercise during hemodialysis has been debated regarding safety and efficacy for improving life quality for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Thus, we explored the influence of physical exercise during hemodialysis on both autonomic modulation of heart rate and quality of life for patients with CKF in a randomized clinical trial. We randomly allocated participants requiring hemodialysis to an experimental exercise group (EG) and a control no-exercise group (CG) and assessed their quality of life with the Kidney Disease Quality of Life Short Form-KDQOL-SF 1.

Profile of adult intensive care units in Brazil: systematic review of observational studies.

Objective: To identify the clinical and epidemiological profile of adult intensive care units in Brazil.

Methods: A systematic review was performed using a comprehensive strategy to search PubMed®, Embase, SciELO, and the Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde. The eligibility criteria for this review were observational studies that described the epidemiological and/or clinical profile of critically ill patients admitted to Brazilian intensive care units and were published between 2007 and 2020.

Effectiveness of Different Physiotherapy Protocols in Children in the Intensive Care Unit: A Randomized Clinical Trial.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of different physical therapy protocols on the autonomic modulation of heart rate, time of invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV), and length of hospital stay.

Methods: This was a randomized clinical study with 20 children on IMV in an intensive care unit (ICU), between July 2018 and September 2019. The control group (n = 10) performed the hospital's physical therapy protocol and the experimental group (n = 10) performed the physical therapy protocol based on physical exercise.

Background And Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of different physiotherapy protocols on heart rate variability (HRV) and hospital length of stay in older adults undergoing coronary artery bypass graft (CABG).

Methods: Randomized controlled trial with allocation and researcher blinding and intention-to-treat analysis. Forty-eight patients undergoing CABG were randomly assigned to a control group (CG), early mobilization group (EMG), or virtual reality group (VRG).

Physical Exercise and Quality of Life of Patients Diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer: Systematic Literature Review.

Background: Colorectal cancer decrease quality of life, due to treatment and disease, and physical exercise can improve the quality of life of patients with cancer, but it is still uncertain whether physical exercise can improve quality of life in these patients.

Aim: To determine if there is an improvement in the quality of life in patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer undergoing physical exercise.

Methods: A systematic literature review was carried out; non-randomized clinical trials of any year were included from PubMed, Embase, Cochrane, and VHL platforms, without specific language delimitation, and analyzed the influence of physical exercise on the quality of life of patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer, and for analysis of bias, the Cochrane Manual for the Development of Systematic Intervention Reviews was used.

A systematic review of the prevalence of anxiety symptoms during coronavirus epidemics.

Coronavirus pandemics causes systemic and mainly pulmonary changes. We assessed the prevalence of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) in pandemic survivors and the general population. Papers indexed by MEDLINE/PubMed, The Cochrane, Embase, Lilacs, Scielo, Psycoinfo, and Pepsic databases were searched to April 2020, using GAD and Coronavirus (CoV) infection as keywords.
