Background: Catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs) are a leading cause of health care-associated infection. Catheter insertion bundles (IBs) and maintenance bundles (MBs) have been developed to prevent CAUTIs but have not been extensively validated for use in pediatric populations.
