Disordered Immune Regulation and its Therapeutic Targeting in Myelodysplastic Syndromes.

Purpose Of Review: Immune dysregulation is a defining feature of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). Recently, several studies have further defined the complex role of immune alterations within MDS. Herein, we will summarize some of these findings and discuss the therapeutic strategies currently in development.

Primary Care Interventions for Early Childhood Development: A Systematic Review.

Context: The pediatric primary care setting offers a platform to promote positive parenting behaviors and the optimal development of young children. Many new interventions have been developed and tested in this setting over the past 2 decades.

Mutation and/or overexpression of many receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) including c-Met, PDGFR, c-Kit and IGF1-R drive defective signaling pathways in sarcomas. MGCD516 (Sitravatinib) is a novel small molecule inhibitor targeting multiple RTKs involved in driving sarcoma cell growth.
