Purpose: To determine the effect of taurine supplementation on sweating and core temperature responses, including the transition from compensable to uncompensable heat stress, during prolonged low-intensity exercise of a fixed-heat production (~ 200W/m) in hot conditions (37.5 °C), at both fixed and incremental vapour-pressure.
Methods: Fifteen females (n = 3) and males (n = 12; 27 ± 5 years, 78 ± 9 kg, O 50.
The natural history and taxonomic status of two central African primates, Cercopithecus dryas and Cercopithecus salongo have long been in question. Recent studies confirmed that C. dryas is a basal member of the savanna monkey clade, and that it prefers dense undergrowth in lowland rainforest.

Bermuda is located in temperate latitudes but coral reefs, tropical seagrasses and calcareous green algae are common in the shallow waters of the platform. The dominant organisms of these communities are all living at or near their northern latitudinal range limits in the Atlantic Ocean.

On the basis of these results alone it was suggested that the relationships of Anne lida be reconsidered and that the systematics of the group changed accordingly. An examination of these data, however, reveals difficulties in the original analysis that relate to weighting and the relative inclusion or exclusion of available characters and of taxa.
