This study aims to summarize the effectiveness of organizational interventions on appropriate opioid prescribing for noncancer pain upon hospital discharge. A systematic search was conducted on 6 electronic databases by 2 independent reviewers. We included original research articles reporting on quantitative outcomes of organizational interventions targeting appropriate opioid prescribing on hospital discharge.
