In this paper is given a short introduction to the functioning of the group therapy of psychotic patients at our unit; outlining also other aspects of their treatment (medication, hospitalisation, group therapy). By collecting examples from the reports of the group therapy we illustrate how the medicaments appear in the conversations. We analyse the given data from three different point of view: interactional, thematic and by the psychotic contents.

Here we demonstrate a segregated expression of GlyT1 on different astroglial cell populations of the ventral respiratory group. In TgN(hGFAP-EGFP) mice a combined immunohistochemical and electrophysiological approach was used to define the cellular expression of GlyT1 in the respiratory network.

Newborn mice deficient in GlyT1 are anatomically normal but show severe motor and respiratory deficits and die during the first postnatal day. In brainstem slices from GlyT1-deficient mice, in vitro respiratory activity is strikingly reduced but normalized by the glycine receptor (GlyR) antagonist strychnine.
