Method: We conducted a convergent mixed methods study, including a cross-sectional survey with structured and open-ended questions as well as focus group interviews, at Oslo Metropolitan University, during the 2020-2021 academic year.
In this study we replicated a typical high-quality post-consumer polypropylene (PP) recycling process to investigate its losses and emissions and study potential improvements. To our knowledge this is the first time that quantitative measurements on all process steps have been performed instead of an accumulated yield and emissions in water. In the process an overall PP yield of 85 wt% based on pure PP input is achieved.

Yet, most undergraduate medical education does not explicitly cover these topics in a required, longitudinal curriculum.
Methods: In January 2015 at Harvard Medical School, we created a two-part sequence (pre- and post-clerkship) of required, 4-week multidisciplinary courses-"Essentials of the Profession I and II"-to fill this gap.
Importance: Despite decades of neuroimaging studies reporting brain structural and functional alterations in depression, discrepancies in findings across studies and limited convergence across meta-analyses have raised questions about the consistency and robustness of the observed brain phenotypes.
