Purpose: The aim of the study is to perform a systematic review and meta-analysis comparing the diagnostic performance of artificial intelligence (AI) and human readers in the detection of wrist fractures.
Method: This study conducted a systematic review following PRISMA guidelines. Medline and Embase databases were searched for relevant articles published up to August 14, 2023.
This study systematically reviews the outcomes of surgical repair of triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) tears. Existing surgical techniques include capsular sutures, suture anchors, and transosseous sutures. However, there is still no consensus as to which is the most reliable method for ulnar-sided peripheral and foveal TFCC tears.

Background: Venous thromboembolism causes significant morbidity and mortality in patients after total joint arthroplasty. Although network meta-analyses have demonstrated a benefit of various thromboprophylactic agents, there remains a concern in the surgical community regarding the resulting wound complications. There is currently no systematic review of the surgical site bleeding complications of thromboprophylactic agents.

Verrucous carcinoma is a rare, well-differentiated variant of squamous cell carcinoma with a minimal incidence of metastasis. Conservative treatment and local excision have been utilized although with high recurrence rates. We present a unique case of a 44-year-old male with bilateral foot involvement with recurrences after local excision, leading to management with bilateral forefoot amputations.
