Anastomosing variant of capillary haemangioma is a rare and recently described vascular tumour with a proclivity for the genitourinary tract. Here we present the case of a 64-year-old man with incidental finding of 3.4 cm renal mass on CT who had laparoscopic nephrectomy with a good postoperative recovery.

We report on 14 fetuses from 10 families with the autosomal recessive syndrome of proliferative vasculopathy and hydranencephaly-hydrocephaly (Fowler syndrome). In four families sibs were affected and in six the parents were consanguineous. Antenatal ultrasonography showed hydrocephaly in all except two fetuses, but hydranencephaly was diagnosed in only one case.

Perivascular epithelioid cell tumors are recently characterized neoplasms composed of large clear HMB-45-positive epithelioid cells arranged in an organoid pattern. The histogenesis of these neoplasms remain obscure. We report here 2 such tumors in young female patients aged 19 and 16 years involving the urinary bladder and vagina, respectively (in the absence of the tuberous sclerosis complex) .
