Congenital pouch colon: Case report and literature review.

Background: congenital pouch colon (CPC) is an extremely rare Congenital gastrointestinal pathology, in which the normal colon is either partially or completely replaced by a pouch-like dilatation communicating with the urogenital tract through a fistula. That's divided into 2 types: Complete CPC and Incomplete CPC. Worldwide and middle east Arabian ethnicity except for Indians, show high scarcity regarding the incidence.

Robust image hashing using ring partition-PGNMF and local features.

Background: Image authentication is one of the challenging research areas in the multimedia technology due to the availability of image editing tools. Image hash may be used for image authentication which should be invariant to perceptually similar image and sensitive to content changes. The challenging issue in image hashing is to design a system which simultaneously provides rotation robustness, desirable discrimination, sensitivity and localization of forged area with minimum hash length.

The effect of set on encoding and rehearsal processes in memory.

An experiment was conducted to determine the effect of manipulating S's preparation for what he will see on a given trial on his ability to mentally keep track of the number of occurrences of each of several different stimuli in a sequence. It was found that, when the same stimuli were used from trial to trial, performance was significantly better than when different stimuli were used. Foreknowledge of the specific stimuli to be used on a given trial did little to improve performance per se, but it did reduce labeling errors.
