One of the most important areas of medical science is oncology, which is responsible for both the diagnostics and treatment of cancer diseases. Over the years, there has been an intensive development of cancer diagnostics and treatment. This paper shows the comparison of normal (CCD-18Co) and cancerous (CaCo-2) cell lines of the human gastrointestinal tract on the basis of nanomechanical and biochemical properties to obtain information on cancer biomarkers useful in oncological diagnostics.
