Iatrogenic nerve lesions of the upper extremity.

Thirty-three patients are presented who suffer from iatrogenic nerve injury of the upper extremity. Depending on the nature, duration, and degree of nerve injury, we performed neurolysis (16), direct nerve coaptation (4), and nerve grafting (13). Fourteen (70%) of 20 patients presenting with motor nerve injury achieved motor function against resistance.
