- The study evaluated the effects of partial stapled hemorrhoidopexy on anal function, complications, pain levels, and recurrence of hemorrhoids after one year.
- In a group of 17 patients with grades III and IV internal hemorrhoids, the surgery had a quick average operative time of just over 9 minutes and resulted in low pain scores and a median recovery time of 9 days.
- No significant changes in anal function were observed, and there were no cases of disease recurrence after one year, with a majority of patients reporting satisfaction with the outcome.
