Role of CD64 and myeloperoxidase as biomarkers for early diagnosis of sepsis in pediatric intensive care unit.

Globally, sepsis is the primary cause of death for children. While research conducted on adults has a significant impact on the diagnosis and treatment of sepsis in newborns and young children, there are significant factors that are pertinent to pediatrics as well. This prospective case-control study was conducted during the period from August 2020 to October 2022 after approval by the institutional ethical committee.
