DENV infection outcomes depend on the host's variable expression of immune receptors and mediators, leading to either resolution or exacerbation. While the NS3 protein is known to induce robust immune responses, the specific impact of its protease region epitopes remains unclear. This study investigated the effect of recombinant NS3 protease region proteins from all four DENV serotypes on splenocyte activation in BALB/c mice (n = 5/group).
