Although previous studies have identified a need for leadership skills, less is known about leadership skill development in graduate programs. To address this, we constructed a mixed-method study to identify the most significant graduate school leadership experiences of scientists in the agricultural plant science disciplines.

Article Synopsis
  • The study tracked the susceptibility of neonate Spodoptera frugiperda to the insecticidal protein Vip3Aa19 over 17 generations to understand variations in bioassay results.
  • Five larval pretreatment conditions and the influence of photoperiod during the bioassay were analyzed, discovering that factors like prefeeding and specific storage conditions affected susceptibility, while others did not.
  • The findings indicate that while certain conditions influence susceptibility, inherent variations among larvae also play a significant role, highlighting the need for careful experimental design in bioassays.
