Objectives: Cisplatin (CP) is frequently used in various types of cancers. The cardiotoxic effects of this agent limit its usage. Our study seeks to investigate the protective effects of Irbesartan (IRB) on CP-induced cardiotoxicity.

Aim: Cumulus oophorus cells (COC) exhibit a close relationship with the oocytes. We aimed to determine the role of the DNA integrity of COC and lymphocytes on the oocyte and embryo quality and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) success.

Background/aims: Tenoxicam is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug, which has antipyretic and antiinflammatory effects. Though it is known that the major side effect of non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs is on the gastrointestinal tract and liver, there have been few studies regarding the effects of tenoxicam.
