Background: Sarcopenia is a progressive age-related skeletal muscle disease associated with adverse outcomes in those with cardiovascular disease. In this study, the prevalence of sarcopenia and its effect on clinical outcomes in heart failure with mildly reduced ejection fraction (HFmrEF) patients were examined.
Methods: A total of 722 patients from three centres who applied to the outpatient clinic with the diagnosis of HFmrEF between 01 January 2020 and 01 June 2021 were included in the study retrospectively.
Background: This study is a randomized controlled, biopsychosocial study investigating the effectiveness of pain neuroscience education (PNE) and motor imagery-based exercise protocol (MIEP) on fibromyalgia pain.
Methods: Our study has four groups (MIEP n = 12, PNE n = 12, MIEP + PNE n = 14, Control n = 12) and all participants (n = 50) consist of patients diagnosed with fibromyalgia with chronic back pain. The primary outcome measure was pain intensity, and secondary outcome measures were beliefs, kinesiophobia, anxiety-depression, cognitive-mood, self-esteem, and body awareness.
Introduction: Parkinson disease is the world's second most prevalent neurological disease. In this disease, intracytoplasmic neuronal inclusions are observed in enteric neurons in the gastrointestinal tract, and the composition of the intestinal microbiome is altered. These changes correlate with the motor phenotype.

Methods The study included 36 patients who were hospitalized in the anesthesia intensive care unit and coronary intensive care unit of our hospital and were treated with TTM therapy after cardiac arrest. TAS, TOS, OSI, and Nrf-2 levels were measured at 0 (beginning), 12, 24, and 48 (end) hours of TTM therapy.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between spiritual health, resilience and happiness levels of dental students at a state university in Turkey.
Methods: This cross- sectional study included 212 students from the 3rd, 4th and 5th grades of the faculty of dentistry.
Background: The posterior tibial slope (PTS) is an important feature in knee joint biomechanics and indicates anterior-posterior knee stability. Increased PTS is a known risk factor for both primary anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture and postreconstruction rerupture.
Purpose: To investigate the effect of long-term exposure to ACL deficiency on the PTS and the sagittal anatomy of the proximal tibia.
Propolis, a natural product collected by honeybees from various plant sources, has gained significant attention due to its diverse bioactive compounds and potential therapeutic properties. To further explore its contents and biological activities, this study aimed to analyze the phenolic compounds in Siirt propolis extracts obtained using different solvents, namely ethanol, water, and ethanol-water mixtures. The primary objective of this research was to investigate the phenolic profile, as well as the antidiabetic and antioxidant activities of the propolis extracts.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the behavioral and cognitive effects of QET in both naïve and sleep-deprived rats.
Materials And Methods: Seven groups ( = 49) of male Wistar Albino rats were used in this study.
Introduction: The aim of this study was to assess the impact of aortic angulation (AA) on periprocedural and in-hospital complications as well as mortality of patients undergoing Evolut™ R valve implantation.
Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on 264 patients who underwent transfemoral-approach transcatheter aortic valve replacement with self-expandable valve at our hospital between August 2015 and August 2022. These patients underwent multislice computer tomography scans to evaluate AA.

Objective: The principal aim of this research is to investigate the variables that exert a discernible impact on the overall survival (OS) of individuals afflicted with colorectal cancer (CRC) harboring pathologic stages 2-3, as delineated within the TNM staging schema tailored to CRC, an established framework governed by the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC).
Patients And Methods: Patients with preoperative stages 1 and 4, patients with a history of other organ malignancy, patients who could not undergo curative resection, patients with systemic malignant diseases (leukemia, lymphoma, etc.), patients with synchronous tumors, and patients with positive surgical margins were excluded from the study.
