Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of different types of bleaching methods and repolishing on the whiteness index and staining susceptibility of additive and subtractive production resin-based materials and direct composite resins.
Methods: In this study, a total of 96 samples (8*8*2m) were prepared using a nanohybrid composite resin (Neo Spectra-ST (NS)), a subtractive-manufactured nanoceramic resin (Cerasmart270 (CS)), and an additive-manufactured permanent resin (Saremco print Crowntec (CT)). The samples were randomly divided into four treatment groups: control (distilled water, 14 days), in-office bleaching (Opalescence Boost-40% HP, 3*20min), at-home bleaching (Opalescence PF-16% CP, 6 h, 14 days), and toothpaste group (Opalescence Whitening, 2*5min, 14 days) (n:8).
Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine the effect of gastric acid on the surface roughness of additive and subtractive manufacturing resin.
Materials And Methods: In this study, two subtractive manufacturing CAD-CAM resin nanoceramic (CerasmartTM270 (CS), LavaTM Ultimate (LU)) and two additive manufacturing 3D printing permanent resin (VarseoSmile Crownplus (VSP), Crowntec (CT)) was used. CS and LU samples were turned into 10 mm diameter cylinders with a scraper and cut into 2 mm slices on the cutting device.
Purpose: To evaluate the elution of residual monomers from resins used in additive and subtractive manufactured permanent restorations over a period of one month, using highperformance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Materials and Methods: Two additive manufacturing permanent crown resins (Crowntec, CT and VarseoSmile Crown Plus, VS) and a subtractive manufacturing resin nanoceramic (Cerasmart, CS) were used to fabricate 30 disc-shaped samples (10 × 2 mm) (n=10). The elution of bisphenol A ethoxylate dimethacrylate (BisEMA), urethane dimethacrylate (UDMA), and triethylene glycol dimethacrylate (TEGDMA) monomers was measured with HPLC at 1 day and 30 days after immersion.

Women with chronic liver disease may have infertility for various reasons, although fertility returns after recovering >90% of sexual disorders following liver transplantation. The present study examined the effects of immunosuppressive drugs used by women of reproductive age undergoing liver transplantation in our clinic on pregnancy and pregnancy outcomes and evaluated mortality and morbidity in this patient population.

Methods: The study included patients aged 18 years and older with a minimum survival of 6 months who underwent an LDLT between June 2000 and June 2017. The demographic data of the patients were evaluated in terms of late-term complications.
Background: Adequate portal flow to the liver graft is the requirement of a successful liver transplant (LT). Historically, portal vein thrombosis (PVT) was a contraindication for LT, especially for living donor LT (LDLT), demanding technically more difficult operations and advanced technique. In this study, the outcomes of patients with and without PVT after LDLT were compared.

However, the recommended doses, route of administration, and duration of HBIG administration remain unclear. Moreover, hepatitis B immunoglobulin-free prophylaxis with potent nucleos(t)ide analogs has shown promising disease outcomes in preventing hepatitis B virus recurrence.

In this experimental study, the effects of Ankaferd Blood Stopper (ABS), as an alternative haemostatic agent, were evaluated through histochemical, immunohistochemical and scintigraphic studies.
Materials And Methods: The total of 30 adult female Wistar albino rats was randomly divided into three groups: intact control group (n = 10), bone wax group (n = 10), and ABS group (n = 10).
Background: Burn scar and alopecia on hair-bearing areas can severely affect the social life of patients. Unlike healthy skin, poor biological and mechanical properties of scar tissue in the recipient area can reduce the survival rate of hair graft following hair transplantation.
Objectives: The authors sought to determine if combined non-ablative fractional laser (NAFL) and microfat injection could improve the survival rate of hair grafts on post burn scar.

Trichiasis is an acquired condition in which eyelashes are misdirected toward the ocular surface, resulting in eye irritation and ocular morbidities. Different treatment modalities have been described, including surgical and non-surgical methods. The goal of this article is to present a novel technique for treatment of trichiasis, with a brief review of treatment options.

The aim of this study was to determine the TAPSE and MAPSE reference values in healthy children aged 0-18 years.
Methods And Results: This prospective study included 1300 healthy children evaluated with two-dimensional echocardiography.
Purpose: To evaluate the relationship between decayed, missing and filled teeth (DMFT index) and body mass index (BMI) in a Turkish population of adults aged 20-30 years who did not have any chronic diseases.
Materials And Methods: This study was conducted on a total of 394 patients. DMFT index was used to define the number of teeth with decays, teeth with fillings, and missing teeth.

Aims: The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of the diode laser used for dentin sensitivity on the clinical success of non-carious cervical lesion (NCCL) restorations restored with different adhesive systems.
Methods: 20 NCCLs were restorated with Universal Single Bond (Self Etch) (3M, USA) and Grandio (Voco, Germany), 20 NCCLs were restorated with Universal Single Bond (Total Etch) and Grandio. After diode laser application, 20 NCCLs were restorated with Universal Single Bond and Grandio, 20 NCCLs were restorated with Universal Single Bond (Total Etch) and Grandio.
Introduction: Chest pain is the second most common reason for referral to paediatric cardiologists after benign heart murmurs. Aetiology frequently depends on non-cardiac reasons. In addition, individuals may experience non-cardiac chest pain which is idiopathic or of unknown origin.

Background: To investigate the feasibility of critical congenital heart disease (CCHD) screening test by pulse oximetry in four geographical regions of Turkey with different altitudes, before implementation of a nationwide screening program.
Methods: It was a prospective multi-centre study performed in four centres, between December, 2015 and May, 2017. Pre- and post-ductal oxygen saturations and perfusion indices (PI) were measured using Masimo Radical-7 at early postnatal days.
Objectives: Vascular complications after liver transplant can be lethal. High levels of suspicion and aggressive use of diagnostic tools may help with early diagnosis and treatment. Here, we share our experiences regarding this topic.

This study aims to compare the incidence and mortality rate of mesenteric ischemia in a series of consecutive patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) through on-pump and off-pump techniques.
Materials And Methods: This study included patients who underwent CABG between 1 January 2010 and 31 June 2016.
