Purpose: Ectopic pregnancy (EP) constitutes 1-2% of all pregnancies. Methotrexate (MTX) is commonly used in treating EP, but it has some limitations and potential side effects. Clinical studies have shown that letrozole, an aromatase inhibitor, may potentially be used in conjunction with MTX therapy.

Objective: The CABG SYNTAX score (CSS) has been recommended as an objective and quantitative evaluation tool for coronary anatomic complexity after CABG. We aimed at evaluating the long-term prognostic value of the CSS and its relationship with the composite criteria of all-cause death, cerebrovascular accident (CVA) and/or non-fatal myocardial infarction (MI) in patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) of saphenous vein graft (SVG).

Patients And Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 232 patients who were admitted with MI and underwent PCI of SVGs, between 2012 and 2018.

Objective: Bipolar disorder (BD) and schizophrenia are chronic psychiatric disorders in which sleep disorders are commonly seen. In mental disorders, residual symptoms may persist even if symptoms are greatly reduced overall. The aim of this study was to compare the sleep quality of schizophrenia and BD patients in remission with that of healthy controls.

The effects of working and living conditions of physicians on burnout level and sleep quality.

Background: Burnout is a multidimensional syndrome associated with intense working conditions and negative psychosocial factors in physicians. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of living and working conditions of physicians on burnout level and sleep quality in Turkey.

Methods: In this internet-based questionnaire study, 1053 physicians [General Practitioners (n=233); Basic Medical Sciences (n=26); Internal Medical Sciences (n=530), and Surgery Sciences (n=264)] were included in the study, filling the forms consisting of study conditions, Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questions.

Background: Placenta percreta (PP) is a life-threatening condition and its surgery poses a very high potential for bleeding. The recommended treatment is a cesarean hysterectomy. There are several techniques reported in the literature to reduce the bleeding during percreta operations.

Novelties of ultrasound imaging for endometrial cancer preoperative workup.

Introduction: Endometrial cancer (EC) is the most frequent gynecological cancer. Transvaginal ultrasound (TVU) plays a leading role in the preoperative workup and often is the first diagnostic instrumental examination. Despite expert hands' ultrasound is recommended to assess myometrial invasion in early stage EC, this method is a strictly operator-dependent examination, and varying degrees of sensitivity and specificity have been reported.

Anxiety sensitivities, anxiety and depression levels, and personality traits of patients with chronic subjective tinnitus: a case-control study.

Tinnitus is a condition that commonly affects individuals' daily activities. We aimed to evaluate the anxiety sensitivity, levels of anxiety and depression, and personality traits of patients with chronic subjective tinnitus. The study included 42 patients, who visited the Otorhinolaryngology Clinic, complained of having tinnitus for at least 1 year and did not have any previous peripheral vestibular diseases or psychiatric treatment history.

The Relationship of Male Infertility with Somatosensory Amplification, Health Anxiety and Depression Levels.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between infertility and factors such as anxiety, health anxiety, depression, and somatosensory amplification in male patients presenting with infertility.

Methods: In this study, we evaluated 198 patients (infertile group: 130, control group: 68). Patients that fit the inclusion criteria were informed about the aim and method of the study and filled out sociodemographic data collection form, Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), The Somatosensory Amplification Scale (SSAS), and Health Anxiety Inventory (HAI) questionnaires.

Cognitive impairment profile differences in patients with psychogenic non-epileptic seizures and epilepsy patients with generalized seizures.

: This study aimed to compare cognitive skills in epilepsy patients and psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES) patients who have no history of frequent seizures to those of a healthy control group.: This prospective cross-sectional study was conducted between January 2017 and June 2019 and included 103 epilepsy patients, 100 PNES patients, and 101 healthy controls, aged 18 to 60 years. Patients with fewer than 12 annual seizure episodes and no history of seizures during the last 30 days were added to the study.

Ultrasound in labor admission to predict need for emergency cesarean section: a prospective, blinded cohort study.

Objective: To assess whether assessment with ultrasound could improve the detection of emergency cesarean section (ECS) in laboring women.

Methods: Women who presented with symptoms of active labor or women in need of labor induction were invited to participate in the study. Women included in the study were evaluated with ultrasonography for fetal biometry and vaginal examinations for Bishop score assessment.

Methods: Medline, Scopus, Embase, and the Cochrane Library were searched in February 2018 using combinations of the relevant MeSH terms, keywords. Randomized studies, comparing carbetocin to any other uterotonic agent, in the management of cesarean and vaginal deliveries, were conducted.

This study aimed to investigate if the pregnancy associated plasma Protein-A (PAPP-A) multiples of median (MoM) levels could be used as a marker for the early prediction of RDS. The present study was designed with data gathered from 1773 patients who were referred to our institution for first trimester fetal chromosomal anomaly screening. First trimester PAPP-A MoM values and postnatal RDS occurrences in these pregnancies were retrospectively analysed.
