Skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis affect babies, children, and adults and are characterized by red skin/spots, severe itching that appears on the face, head, legs, neck, and hands, and various causes of illness caused by various external and internal factors. AD is a type IIgE-mediated hypersensitivity reaction. Herbal preparations treat various dermatological diseases like dry skin, melasma, acne, and eczema.

DOE-Assisted Formulation, Optimization, and Characterization of Tioconazole-Loaded Transferosomal Hydrogel for the Effective Treatment of Atopic Dermatitis: In Vitro and In Vivo Evaluation.

Unlabelled: The present study was performed to determine the therapeutic effects of tioconazole (Tz)-loaded novel transferosome carriers (TFs) for the treatment of atopic dermatitis (AD).

Method: Tioconazole transferosomes suspension (TTFs) was formulated and optimized using a 3 factorial design. After that, the optimized batch of TTFs loaded into Carbopol 934 and sodium CMC was prepared with hydrogel and noted as TTFsH.

Compressive cervical myelopathy secondary to degenerative changes in the cervical spine is a common cause of neurologic morbidity in the elderly. Identification of canal stenosis and addressing it surgically in addition to the obvious compressive lesions is essential to obtain satisfactory results. We attempt to define the saggital and transverse diameters in a normal adult population presenting at our centre with head injuries.

A rare medley: concurrent ipsilateral femur head and neck fracture without hip dislocation.

Simultaneous post-traumatic ipsilateral fracture of femur head and subcapital femur neck without hip dislocation is a rare presentation and easily missed on X-ray imaging. A 48 years old male, with a history of high-energy road traffic accident, presented to us with severe pain in the left hip region and inability to ambulate. Preliminary X-ray showed impacted subcapital fracture with varus angulation between femur head and neck.
