The prevalence of celiac disease (CD) in Indian children is not well documented, with most of the studies focusing on high-risk groups and not the general population. This study was conducted to determine the prevalence of CD in asymptomatic school children of Jaipur, Rajasthan. A cross- sectional study was conducted among healthy school children of Jaipur.

Seronegative Celiac Disease; Frequently Encountered Yet Undiagnosed Clinical Entity.

BACKGROUND There are limited studies on the seronegative celiac disease from the Indian subcontinent. The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence, pathological, genetic, and clinical profile of patients with seronegative celiac disease. METHODS This prospective observational study was conducted in the Department of Gastroenterology, SMS Hospital, Jaipur, between October 2017 to March 2019.

Levels of Aminotransferases Among Schoolchildren in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

We did cross-sectional study for normal values of amino-transferases in school children aged 2- 18 years. Median (IQR) AST and ALT values in study subjects were 30 (27- 34) U/L and 23 (19-29) U/L. We also provided age-and sex-related percentiles of aminotransferases of children.

Hemodynamic effects of nitroglycerin ointment in emergency department patients.

Background: Nitroglycerin ointment is commonly used in the treatment of emergency department (ED) patients with suspected acute heart failure (AHF) or suspected acute coronary syndrome (ACS), but its hemodynamic effects in this population are not well described.

Objective: Our objective was to assess the effect of nitroglycerin ointment on mean arterial pressure (MAP) and systemic vascular resistance (SVR) in ED patients receiving nitroglycerin. We hypothesized that nitroglycerin ointment would result in a reduction of MAP and SVR in the acute treatment of patients.

Necrotizing fasciitis of the paraspinous muscles.

Necrotizing fasciitis (NF) is a rare and lethal soft tissue infection that requires urgent surgical intervention. It is most often found in the extremities occurring with precipitating trauma or in immunocompromised states. Signs and symptoms are often vague or missing making early diagnosis very difficult.

A Case of Complicated Urinary Tract Infection: Klebsiella pneumoniae Emphysematous Cystitis Presenting as Abdominal Pain in the Emergency Department.

THIS CASE REPORT DESCRIBES AN ATYPICAL PRESENTATION OF AN ATYPICAL DISEASE ENTITY: Emphysematous Cystitis, a rapidly progressive, ascending urinary tract infection, in an emergency department (ED) patient whose chief complaint was abdominal pain and who had a urinalysis not consistent with the diagnosis of cystitis.

Phase II trial of 10-EDAM in the treatment of metastatic breast cancer.

Introduction: This phase II trial was conducted to assess the efficacy and safety of 10-Ethyl-10-Deaza-Aminopterin (10-EDAM), a folate antagonist, in metastatic breast cancer patients who had received no more than one prior chemotherapy regimen.

Methods: Fifty-five patients were treated on an initial weekly dose 80 mg/m(2) of 10-EDAM. Patients who had received a prior chemotherapy regimen in the adjuvant setting (group 1) were considered separately from patients who had received a prior chemotherapy regimen in the metastatic setting (group 2).
