- Respiratory medicine physicians often prescribe various medications based on patient needs, and a study was conducted to evaluate an outside pharmacy's effectiveness in fulfilling these prescriptions from November 2015 to January 2016.
- Out of 330 patients, 298 responded to a questionnaire, revealing that most patients preferred the pharmacy near the hospital, but some experienced delays in receiving their medications.
- Although there were significant stock shortages of inhalers in both pharmacies, most patients who faced delays still managed to obtain their medications within 1-2 days without any observed negative effects on their health.
