Effectiveness of educational interventions for improving rabies prevention in children: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Rabies poses a significant global health threat, particularly to school-age children through dog bites. This systematic review aimed to investigate the effectiveness of educational interventions for improving rabies prevention among children. In this review, a comprehensive search was conducted across several electronic databases (PubMed, SCOPUS, EBSCO, Google Scholar, and Thai Citation Index) to identify relevant articles published between 2014 and 2023, following PRISMA guidelines.

Pre-exposure Prophylaxis Adherence Among Men Who Have Sex With Men: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis.

Objectives: The effectiveness and efficiency of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) in reducing the transmission of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) among men who have sex with men (MSM) relies on how widely it is adopted and adhered to, particularly among high-risk groups of MSM. The meta-analysis aimed to collect and analyze existing evidence on various factors related to PrEP adherence in MSM, including demographic characteristics, sexual behaviors, substance use, and psychosocial factors.

Methods: The meta-analysis followed the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines.

Psychosocial Influences on Coping and Wellbeing during the Covid-19 Lockdown in the Early Days of the Pandemic: A Mixed Methods Research.

This study focuses on the psychosocial impacts of COVID-19 restrictions on wellbeing and uses a mixed methods design to develop a more profound understanding about adaptive coping during stressful situations. The quantitative phase of this study examined the association between psychological capital, perceived stress, coping and wellbeing. The online survey was conducted in May 2020 and had 257 participants.

The relationships between sexual risk behaviors and general health risk behaviors among unmarried youth in Thailand.

Objectives: The prevalence and correlates of sexual risk behaviors among unmarried youth in Thailand are poorly documented. The objectives of this study were to compare the differences in sexual behaviors across age groups and gender and to identify the relationships between sexual risk behaviors and general health risk behaviors among unmarried Thai youth.

Methods: A population-based, nationally representative, cross-sectional survey was conducted between January and March 2013.
