Unlabelled: Vitamin D deficiency is common in Southeast Asia but there are limited data in pregnant women and neonates. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency in cord blood of newborns and the association with maternal vitamin D status. Unlabelled: Patients with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) appear to have adverse cardiovascular risk profile and other long-term health problems in adult life, but there are limited data in young CAH patients. We aim to evaluate the cardio-metabolic risk factors in adolescents and young adults with classical 21-hydroxylase deficiency (21-OHD). We report a rare case of obstructed right inguinal hernia caused by ingested stones. A 2 year-old boy from Northern Thailand was transferred to our hospital with low-grade fever, vomiting, and acute painful swelling at his right hemiscrotum for one day. The physical examination revealed marked enlargement with inflammation in his right hemiscrotum.
