Localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) effect plays a crucial role in the field of solar energy utilization. In this work, we successfully prepared a CuSe/ZnSe S-scheme heterojunction with a broad-spectrum response using the hot-injection and low-temperature water bath method. Importantly, we demonstrated that the photothermal effect induced by the LSPR of nonstoichiometric CuSe can significantly improve the slow kinetics of water splitting, resulting in an apparent activation energy reduction from 50.

This study aimed to compare the fecal microbiome and antimicrobial resistance between captive and free-range sika deer with the same exposure to antibiotic anthelmintics. The taxonomic differences mainly involved significant changes in the dominant phyla, genera, and species. Linear discriminant analysis effect size (LEfSe) analysis revealed that 22 taxa were significantly different between the two groups.

Diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-D) is the main subtype of IBS, a chronic functional gastrointestinal disorder. Aim: We tested the hypothesis that fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) could regulate the biotransformation of bile acids, such as deoxycholic acid (DCA) and cholic acid (CA), which in turn regulate the biosynthesis of serotonin in the gut and relieve gastrointestinal dysmotility in high-fat diet- (HFD-) induced obesity in rats.
