The performance of tin halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) has been severely limited by the rapid crystallization of tin perovskites, which usually leads to an undesirable film quality. In this work, we tackle this issue by regulating the nucleation and crystal growth of tin perovskite films using a small Lewis base additive, urea. The urea-SnI interaction facilitates the formation of larger and more uniform clusters, thus accelerating the nucleation process.

Melasma is a common skin disease induced by an increase in the content of melanin in the skin, which also causes serious physical and mental harm to patients. In this research, a novel peptide (Nigrocin-OA27) from Odorrana andersonii is shown to exert a whitening effect on C57 mice pigmentation model. The peptide also demonstrated non-toxic and antioxidant capacity, and can significantly reduce melanin content in B16 cells.

In this work, the effects of low-frequency alternating magnetic fields (LF-AMF) on the physicochemical, conformational, and functional characteristics of myofibrillar protein (MP) after iterative freeze-thaw (FT) cycles were explored. With the increasing LF-AMF treatment time, the solubility, active sulfhydryl groups, surface hydrophobicity, emulsifiability, and emulsion stability of MP after five FT cycles evidently elevated and then declined, and the peak value was obtained at 3 h. Conversely, the moderate LF-AMF treatment time can significantly reduce the average particle size, carbonyl content, and endogenous fluorescence intensity of MP.

The EP300-ZNF384 fusion gene is an oncogenic driver in B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). In the present study, we demonstrated that EP300-ZNF384 substantially induces the transcription of IL3RA and the expression of IL3Rα (CD123) on B-ALL cell membranes.
