During mammalian preimplantation development, the transition from morula to blastocyst is a critical biological event. This process involves polarization and initial specification of lineages, regulated by various transcription factors that have been extensively studied in mice. Our single-cell RNA sequencing analyses revealed that TEAD3 is specifically expressed in the trophectoderm cells of bovine preimplantation embryos, unlike in mice.

Infection may lead to abortion in susceptible pregnant animals and women, and potentially fatal health complications in immunocompromised individuals. In this study, we aimed to provide an update on the seroprevalence of, and risk factors for, antibodies in cattle from Qena, southern Egypt.

This study was conducted to examine the additional effect of melatonin to maturation and vitrification media on the in vitro developmental capacity, mitochondrial distribution, and intensity of buffalo oocytes. The study involved obtaining ovaries from a slaughterhouse and conducting two phases.

The hallmark of ARF is a heterogeneous injury, with normal tissue intermingled with a large volume of low compliance and collapsed tissue. Mechanical ventilation is necessary to oxygenate and ventilate patients with ARF, but if set inappropriately, it can cause an unintended ventilator-induced lung injury (VILI).

MiRNAs are small regulatory noncoding RNA involved in the pathogenesis of parasitic diseases, possibly via exosomes. Egr-miR-71 has been identified as one of the miRNAs in the blood of CE patients, but its secretory characteristics and functions remains unclear.

PUBMED, Web of Science, OVID, and SCOPUS databases were searched. Inclusion criteria were randomized control trials or observational studies that compared measurement of the QT markers in FMF patients and healthy controls in both males and females without any age restriction or other comorbidities.

Thus, 12 Holstein cows were assigned to three protocols. According to the number of punctured follicles in protocol 1, ovum pick-up (OPU) was conducted on days 6 and 14 of the cycle (day 0 = estrus).

Objective: Adolescents from single-parent families are at significantly higher risk of substance use compared to those from mother-father families. More than half of American Indian (AI) children live in single-parent families, the second highest percentage among all groups. Given the paucity of research pertaining to the role of family structure and substance use in the AI population, we sought to examine this relationship.

Our meta-analysis aimed to evaluate whether there is a significant association between FMF and increased epicardial adipose tissue thickness.
Methods: We searched the following databases: PUBMED, WOS, OVID, SCOPUS, and EMBASE.
Background And Aim: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in full-coded patients requires effective chest compressions with minimal interruptions to maintain adequate perfusion to the brain and other vital organs. Many novel approaches have been proposed to attain better organ perfusion compared to traditional CPR techniques. The purpose of this review is to investigate the safety and efficacy of heads-up CPR versus supine CPR.

Alveolar echinococcosis caused by Echinococcus multilocularis is an important zoonotic disease, a great threat to human health due to limited interventions. microRNAs are a type of small non-coding RNA that plays a key role in many diseases and is considered as a potential therapeutic target for control of parasitic diseases. However, naked miRNAs are difficult to enter into cells and are easily degraded in both external and internal environments.

We aimed to do a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the effect of prehospital administration of antibiotics on 28 days mortality and length of stay in hospital and intensive care unit for sepsis patients.
Methods: We formulated a search strategy and used it on search databases PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Embase.
Background: In cardiac transplant recipients, the electrocardiogram (ECG) is a noninvasive measure of early allograft rejection. The ECG can predict an acute cellular rejection, thus shortening the time to recognition of rejection. Earlier diagnosis has the potential to reduce the number and severity of rejection episodes.

Fructose-1, 6-bisphosphate aldolase (FBA) plays an important role in this process, but it is not fully characterized in yet. The results of genome-wide analysis showed that the species contained four genes (FBA1-4), all of which had the domain of FBA I and multiple conserved active sites.

A total of 150 NOVOgen brown laying hens aged 70 weeks were randomly allocated into three groups of 50 birds each. The first group was kept as a control, while the second and the third groups were treated with bromocriptine and nano-bromocriptine, respectively, at a dose of 100 µg/kg body weight per week.

This study was conducted on 50 mature Jacks divided according to their body condition score into four groups: Poor (G1), moderate (G2), good (G3) and fat (G4). The complete testis was collected immediately after execution in the Giza Zoo abattoir; then, the epididymis was carefully dissected at the testicular junction.
