Methods: This study is a post hoc analysis of a cross-sectional multicenter study. HBP measurements were performed for 14 consecutive days in 276 patients with type 2 diabetes.

Microbiota has been thought to be one of important environmental factors for obesity or Type 2 diabetes mellitus. Among oral microbe, Porphyromonas gingivalis, Treponema denticola and Tannellera forsythia are known as risk factors, so called red complex, for periodontitis.
