[A rare cause of pacemaker lead displacement: Twiddler's syndrome].

Twiddler's syndrome is a rare but potentially lethal complication of pacemaker implantation. It is usually diagnosed within 1 year after implantation. It is characterized by device malfunction caused by pacemaker lead displacement due to twisting of the box on part of the patient.

[Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in Freidreich ataxia: about two cases].

Freidreich ataxia is the most frequent ataxia of early onset and of autosomal recessive transmission. It is associated with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in 34 to 77% of cases. The purpose of this article is to describe the cardiac manifestations of two patients affected by this disease.
