Nano-Radiopharmaceuticals in Colon Cancer: Current Applications, Challenges, and Future Directions.

Colon cancer remains a significant global health challenge; however, the treatment outcome for colon patients can be improved through early detection and effective treatment. Nano-radiopharmaceuticals, combining nanotechnology with radiopharmaceuticals, are emerging as a revolutionary approach in both colon cancer diagnostic imaging and therapy, playing a significant role in the management of colon cancer patients. This review examines the use of nano-radiopharmaceuticals in the diagnosis and treatment of colon cancer, highlighting current applications, challenges, and future directions.

From Reactive Hyperplasia to Neoplastic Changes: Histopathological Insights into Lymphadenopathy.

Background: Inflammation, infection, autoimmune diseases, or malignancy can cause the abnormal proliferation of lymphocytes; therefore, clinicians should always take detailed history and physical examination to screen the patient for lymphadenopathy.

Objectives: The aim and objective of the current study was to assess the pattern of diseases causing lymphadenopathies in the Pakistani Population.

Methodology: The current study was a cross-sectional study.

Effects of the MyBFF@school program on anthropometry and body composition among overweight and obese adolescent schoolchildren.

Background: Effective and feasible large-scale interventions are urgently needed to reverse the current rise in childhood obesity. The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of a multicomponent intervention program, MyBFF@school, on anthropometric indices and body composition metrics among overweight and obese adolescent schoolchildren in Malaysia.

Methods: This is a cluster randomized controlled trial which involved schoolchildren aged 13, 14 and 16 years old from 15 out of 415 government secondary schools in central Peninsular Malaysia which were randomly assigned into six intervention (N = 579 schoolchildren) and nine control (N = 462 schoolchildren).

Nonlinear impacts of climate anomalies on oil palm productivity.

Oil palm contributes to various global needs as one of the most productive oil crops, but there exist ongoing concerns regarding its yield reductions and associated environmental impacts resulting from land conversion. This is the first detailed report investigating the nonlinear threats to estate-level oil palm yields posed by El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO) in the equatorial Pacific Ocean, a major driver of climate variability. Using the Malaysian Palm Oil Board administrative records on monthly performances reported by oil palm estates through the e-submissions portal spanning from January 2015 to June 2023, we focused on elucidating the impacts of ENSO on fresh fruit bunch yield, oil extraction rate, and oil yield.

Aims And Objectives: The objectives of the study were to investigate the correlation between MRP 1 gene expression and MRP 1 protein levels and the response to remission induction in AML patients.

Evaluation of the Effects of Whey Protein and Moringa Oleifera Leaves Extract Mixture on Osseointegration in Rabbits.

This dataset contains data from a survey of officers in correctional institutions throughout Indonesia. A total of 1284 officers completed the survey regarding their self-assessment of proactive work behavior, perceived organizational support, person-environment fit, proactive personality, and role breadth self-efficacy. In addition to raw data, this dataset presents the characteristics of respondents, a description of respondents' answers, and statistical validation of this survey data.

Do system quality and information quality affect job performance? The mediation role of users' perceptions.

This study aims to analyze the influence of the system quality and information quality from the Correctional Database System (CDS) on the job performance of correctional Technical Support Officers (TSO) in Sumatra, either directly or through the mediating role of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. This study tested 118 correctional officers selected by the purposive sampling technique. A quantitative approach is used with Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling analysis technique.

Palm oil fuel ash (POFA) has limited use as a fertilizer, while contribute effectively to the environmental contamination and health risks. Petroleum sludge poses a serious effect on the ecological environment and human health. The present work aimed to present a novel encapsulation process with POFA binder for treating petroleum sludge.

Occurrence of new Philometra sp. in mangrove red snapper Lutjanus argentimaculatus from the Karachi coast, Pakistan.

A recent examination of Philometra nematodes from mangrove red snapper Lutjanus argentimaculatus (Forsskal, 1775) from the Karachi coast, Kemari was done in the years 2021-2022. The present study reported three new species of genus Philometra (Costa, 1845) (Nematoda: Philometridae) Philometra kolachii, Philometra lutjani and Philometra kemarii. A total of 140 fish samples were examined, and 76 were infected.

Glycemic control and antioxidant potential of distinct fractions of camelus dromedaries fresh milk in streptozocin induced diabetic rats.

Introduction: Patient counseling can be helpful in improving the outcome of disease management, particularly chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, which is common in Saudi Arabia. The present study looks to investigate the levels of counseling and satisfaction among patients attending diabetic clinics in outpatient hospital pharmacy in Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia.

Method: This is a cross-sectional investigation, carried out by using interview-structured questionnaire, targeting diabetes mellitus patients with or without comorbid states.

Extraction of Oleic Acid from Moroccan Olive Mill Wastewater.

The production of olive oil in Morocco has recently grown considerably for its economic and nutritional importance favored by the country's climate. After the extraction of olive oil by pressing or centrifuging, the obtained liquid contains oil and vegetation water which is subsequently separated by decanting or centrifugation. Despite its treatment throughout the extraction process, this olive mill wastewater, OMW, still contains a very important oily residue, always regarded as a rejection.

Effect of postural angle on back muscle activities in aging female workers performing computer tasks.

[Purpose] This study investigated the effects of postural angle on back muscle activity during a computer task in aging women. [Subjects] Seventeen women ≥50 years old participated. [Methods] The participants were instructed to perform computer-related tasks for 20 minutes on a workstation that simulated typical office working conditions.

Perineal myxoid liposarcomas: a case report and literature review.

Myxoid liposarcoma is the major subtype of liposarcoma and commonly presents in the extremities, particularly in the thigh. We introduce an unusual case of a myxoid liposarcoma presenting as a large perineal swelling occupying the para-rectal and para-anal spaces in a 49-year-old male patient. The diagnosis, management, and prognosis of myxoid liposarcoma are discussed.

In this study, cutaneous toxicities associated with the administration of chemotherapy in combination are discussed. Rapidly growing cells are the targets of chemotherapy, so the skin, hair follicles, and nail matrix are frequently affected by chemotherapy. Chemotherapy skin reactions are more likely toxic than allergic reactions.

A new spectrophotometric method for the determination of methyldopa.

A new, simple and low cost spectrophotometric method for the determination of methyldopa in pharmaceutical preparations was developed. The method was based on the coupling of methyldopa with 2,6-dichloroquinone-4-chlorimide (DCQ). The absorbance maximum (λ max) of the resulted colored product was at 400 nm.

Effects of tryptophan and valine administration on behavioral pharmacology of haloperidol.

Development of antipsychotics with slight/no extra-pyramidal symptoms (EPS) and/or other side effects is one of the exploring fields of drug research. Haloperidol is a high potency typical neuroleptic used in the treatment of schizophrenia but produces muscles related side effects commonly known as EPS. These effects are not produced following the administration of atypical neuroleptics such as clozapine.
