Homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia is a rare hypercholesterolemia representing 1 to 2% of hypercholesterolemia. It is a metabolic disorder coming from genetic trouble with a bad prognostic. Its probucol's therapy in an adolescent is subject of controversy.
