Forty-five patients with discirculatory encephalopathy, I-II stages, and moderate cognitive disorders of vascular genesis were examined. All patients were stratified into 2 groups: 25 patients of the main group received pantoham in the complex therapy in dose 250 mg 3 times a day during 2 months; 20 patients of the comparison group received only a unified therapy (antihypertensive drugs and, if necessary, coronarolytics and glucose-decreasing drugs. The clinical/neurological and instrumental examinations and neuropsychological testing were performed before the treatment and after 8 weeks.
