Purpose: Enzalutamide after abiraterone progression is commonly used in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer despite a low rate of clinical benefit. In nanoscience and nanobiotechnology, using plant extracts in synthesizing metal nanoparticles (NPs) has recently come to light as an exciting opportunity with several benefits over traditional physicochemical methods. In the present work, zinc oxide (ZnO) based nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized by green chemistry route using lychee peel extract to capture hazardous congo red dye from wastewater and illustrate their antimicrobial behavior. The X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) spectra confirm the wurtzite crystal structure, and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectra confirm the functional group in ZnO, which is suitable for dye adsorption.

Purpose: Procedure rooms (PRs) are increasingly used for hand surgeries, but few studies have directly compared surgical site infection (SSI) rates between the PR and operating room. In the current work, a techno-economic analysis of pyrolysis of choline glycinate pre-treated biomass has been presented for the co-production of furfural and levoglucosenone along with hemicellulose, lignin and biochar as other byproducts. The mass balance suggested that the 1800 kg/h dry sugarcane straw biorefinery plant could produce about 260 kg/h furfural and 65 kg/h levoglucosenone. Degenerative disorders of the wrist may affect isolated joints and inhibit normal functions of the wrist secondary to pain and stiffness. These processes that affect only the radiocarpal joint may be secondary to posttraumatic osteoarthritis, primary osteoarthritis, or rheumatoid arthritis.
