Hepatic angiomyolipoma (HAML) is an uncommon primary liver tumor with limited reported cases in the literature. It is composed of varying amounts of fat, smooth muscle, and blood vessels, typically non-malignant proliferation. It usually presents diagnostic challenges due to diverse imaging characteristics.

Although endoscopic ultrasonography seems necessary in a suspected leiomyoma of the esophagus, the performance of biopsies fine needle aspiration is controversial as it increases the risk of complications such as bleeding, infection, and intraoperative perforations. Laparoscopy is the best treatment strategy for small tumors.

Knowing the low incidence of IFH, few series with large samples studied predictive factors of intestinal necrosis. The main objectives of our study were to determine the predictive preoperative factors of intestinal necrosis in patients with IFH and to compare its morbidity with that related to incarcerate inguinal hernias (IIH).

A pseudocyst rupture into the abdomen causes peritonitis, which can be fatal if surgical treatment is delayed. Here in we report the case of a 46-year-old woman presenting with a pancreatic pseudocyst doubly complicated with infection and rupture causing sepsis shock.

Materials And Methods: The ability of each parameter to predict postoperative mortality was attested in 2 ways: Area under the curve (AUC) was determined using ROC curves analysis. A comparison of AUC was performed using Delong test and Henley-McNeil test.
Introduction: Benign tumors represent less than 1% of esophageal neoplasms. Esophageal leiomyoma is a very rare tumor that arises from mesenchymal tissue. We present here a case of leiomyoma of the esophagus which was revealed by dysphagia and vomiting that was treated by surgical enucleation.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective study involving 587 patients with AC.
Background: Papillary renal cell carcinoma (PRCC) represent 10 to 15% of renal tumours in adults. They contain more than 75% of tubule-papillary structure and are divided histologically into two subtypes. The distinction between these two sub-types is essential because of different prognosis.

Patients And Methods: Thirty patients underwent LRP for primary pelvi-ureteric junction obstruction (PUJO). Anderson-Hynes dismembered pyeloplasty was used in 28 patients and a Foley Y-V pyeloplasty in two.
Background: Post traumatic posterior urethral disruption is a common condition, its treatment is controversial.
Aim: To assess the long term results of endoscopic realignment compared with delayed urethroplasty, in the management of post traumatic urethral disruption.
Methods: Between February 2002 and March 2009, 30 patients have been operated for post traumatic posterior urethral disruption.
This paper reports the case of 34-year-old woman who presented with bilateral renal angiomyolipomas (AMLs). On the right side, there was a large AML with a fatty thrombus extending to the right atrium. The treatment consisted of right nephrectomy and complete thrombectomy with extracorporeal circulation and right atriotomy.

Herein we present two cases of paratesticular pleomorphic RMS in 71- and 16-year-old patients with metastases at initial diagnosis. Histological, immunohistochemical, and ultrastructural findings were essential to confirm diagnosis.

A case of colonic perforation complicating percutaneous nephrolithotomy in a 64-year-old woman is reported. Nonoperative management was successful with the creation of a controlled colocutaneous fistula by pulling the nephrostomy tube back from the kidney to the colon and the use of an elemental diet and antibiotics. Internal urinary drainage was not necessary.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA case of intravesical hydatid cyst is reported. The cyst was completely evacuated cystoscopically with intravesical instillation of a scolicidal agent (hydrogen peroxide) to destroy scolices and daughter cysts. The postoperative course was uneventful, and follow-up did not show evidence of recurrence.

It develops when the bladder sticks to an inflammatory colon making of a communication between the bladder and the digestive segment, usually the sigmoid. Liquid usually passes from the colon to the bladder because of the existing pressure gradient.
