Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-associated renal disease is a pan-nephropathy, causing glomerular, tubular, and interstitial changes. The common lesion is the collapsing variant of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis. Multiple myeloma presenting as light chain cast nephropathy in an HIV-positive patient is very rare.

This study aims to analyze the clinical and histopathological findings and outcomes among the three classes in the recent classification.

It took only days to a few months, for the coronavirus to spread across the globe from it's place of origin, Wuhan city, China. Though, India is not among the worst affected countries of coronavirus, it is still a major Public Health emergency which pose a serious threat of crippling the nation's economy. A densely populated country like India, cannot afford getting it's population infected with coronavirus, as that will have an enormous strain in existing healthcare facilities.

Fine-needle aspiration cytology and cell block in diagnosis and subtyping of hepatoblastoma.

Hepatoblastoma (HB) constitutes less than 1% of all pediatric malignancies and is the most common malignant tumor of liver in children. The fine-needle aspiration cytological (FNAC) diagnosis and sub-typing of this tumor is challenging, which is of critical importance from its treatment point of view. All cases with a clinicoradiological impression of "HB" during the study period of 1 year were subjected to ultrasound-guided (USG) FNAC and cell blocks were prepared in all cases.

Myelonecrosisis a rare antemortem finding most commonly seen in haematopoeitic neoplasms, especially in acute leukemia. When myelonecrosis occurs at the time of presentation, it imposes certain diagnostic issues in sub categorization of leukemias which is necessary for therapeutic as well as prognostic purposes. Flow cytometry, though is a powerful modality, has its own limitations especially when the cells are not fresh and viable; and when the specimen is not of adequate cellularity which is usual in cases of myelonecrosis.

Co-infection of syphilis and hepatitis B with carcinoma penis in a human immunodeficiency virus male.

Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infections have a high probability of co-infections with Syphilis and hepatitis B virus since they share the common routes of transmission. We report a 41-year-old HIV male (on antiretroviral therapy for the past 6 years) admitted for a complaint of penile ulcer for 2 months. Serology for syphilis and hepatitis B were positive.

Observance of Kassowitz law-late congenital syphilis: Palatal perforation and saddle nose deformity as presenting features.

Late congenital syphilis refers to the people with syphilis from the age of 2 to 30 years. We report a case of late congenital syphilis in a 9 year old girl with perforation of palate and saddle nose deformity. Kassowitz law was also observed (if a woman with untreated syphilis has series of pregnancies, the likelihood of infection of the fetus in later pregnancies becomes less).
